About the Awards

A national platform for Tamil-Australian excellence.

The ATCC Australian Tamil Business Awards is the highest-profile annual recognition of entrepreneurship and leadership across the Tamil-Australian business community.

With our Victoria and Queensland chapters now established alongside NSW, the 2026 Awards are open to applicants from across all of Australia — as they have always been. Six categories. Independent assessment. Real recognition for the people building Tamil-Australian business.

Nominations are self-nominated — apply directly through this page. After submission, share your personalised endorsement page with your network. Endorsers add a few details (name, email, phone) so we can recognise the community standing behind each nominee.

    Nominate yourself

Pick the category that fits, complete the application questions, submit.

  2. 02

    Get endorsed

You receive a personalised page to share with your network. Endorsers add their name, email and phone.

  3. 03

    Independent judging

An independent Selection Committee assesses each application against the published criteria.

  4. 04

    Finalists & gala

Finalists are announced two weeks before the gala. Winners revealed live on 3 October.

Judging & governance

Independent committee. Criteria-based. Auditable.

An independent three-member Selection Committee assesses each application against the published criteria. The Committee retains full authority over the final decision.

Community endorsements add a visibility layer and a soft-landing public-voting weighting (final figure announced before nominations close). They do not override the Committee's judgement.

A representative from the ATCC Board observes the judging process to ensure governance compliance, without influencing the outcome.
